Clarence “Bud” Cook, age 83 of Stevens Point, died Thursday April 9, 2015 surrounded by his family at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital.
He was born April 15, 1931 in Morristown, TN. He is the son of the late Jesse & Mary Belle (Black) Cook. His marriage to Dolores Olski took place on Nov. 17, 1962 at St. Peter Catholic Church, she survives. Bud was an independent logger with his brother Jess for over 50 years. They received the Outstanding Logger of the Year award in 1984. He enjoyed gardening, scratch offs, trips to the casino, hunting & especially spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Dolores, two sons: Kenneth (Beth) Cook and Kurt (Holly) Cook both from Bancroft. One daughter: Kim (Boyd) Roback of Stevens Point. Five Grandchildren: Kenny & Maryah Cook and Amanda, Melissa & Bethany Roback. Four Brothers: Jess (Mary) Cook of Rosholt and Lynns, George & Johnny Cook all from Morristown, TN. Five sisters: Rosa (Victor) Diaz of CA, Annie Mullins, Margaret Lovell, Shirley Maxey & Mary Spencer all of Morristown, TN. One sister-in-law: Sandra Cook of IL. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Dorothy De Sardi, Minnie Henson & Betty Cook and 1 brother: Howard Cook.
Private graveside services were held Monday April 13, 2015 at the Guardian Angel cemetery in Stevens Point. Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
