Commissioners for the McDill Lake District will gather on April 29 to discuss maintenance of McDill Pond.
The public meeting is scheduled for 6 PM in the school library of Ben Franklin Junior High, 2000 Polk Street.
The Lake District is home to about 175 homes and properties surrounding McDill Pond and parts of the Plover River. The District is legally recognized as a government body by the state and works with the Dept. of Natural Resources to care for the pond.
Items to be discussed are lake plant management, invasive lake plant harvesting methods, lake plant chemical treatment planning, lake shoreline management and grant evaluation and planning.
