To the Editor-
There’s a solid sense of community within the building I live in. From my apartment, I’ve got a beautiful view of the Clark St. Bridge over the river. The Green Circle Trail is outside the back door, and I enjoy both biking and walking on it. I also make use of the Farmer’ Market, just a short stroll from home.
The band shell at Pfiffner Park is fairly within view, and with summer approaching, I’m looking forward to the many activities that take place along the water, including musical events, Riverfront Rendezvous, and food fairs.
If this sounds like the place for you or someone you care about, come and take a look at the only affordable senior (55+) apartment building in the area that’s — not only on the river with its wildlife, path, and parks — but also so close to an Aging and Disability Resource Center and to the town square.
I moved into Edgewater Manor last September. The address is 1450 Water St., in Stevens Point. Candlewood provides excellent management and has a great maintenance staff. You can reach them at (715) 544-8353. For more information go to www.edgewatermanor.info.
