A Custer man is facing charges of election fraud after he allegedly participated in the 2012 state recall election.
Frank Erno, 26, allegedly voted following his 2010 felony conviction for third-degree sexual assault, a conviction that rendered him ineligible to vote. According to police documents, Erno cast a ballot on June 5, 2012 at the Sharon Town Hall.
Court documents indicate Erno was on probation at the time of the election and knew he was ineligible to vote.
Erno returns to court on May 4.
