Crews working on pavement maintenance, surveying, bridge maintenance, and soil borings

Several weekday lane closures are planned along I-39 in Portage and Waushara counties beginning next week. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution in work zones and should be prepared to encounter slow moving vehicles, especially during peak travel times.
- Single, weekday lane closures on I-39 between WIS 54 and the Marathon County line. Crews are doing maintenance activities on eight bridges located along north and southbound I-39. This work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Thursday, May 7.
- Single, weekday lane closures at various locations between WIS 54 and Portage County HH. Crews will be collecting soil borings and field survey information. Crews may also be working on County B between Village Park and County R in Plover. All work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Friday, May 22.
Portage and Waushara counties
- Single, weekday lane closures on southbound I-39 between WIS 54 and Hancock. Crews will be working on pavement maintenance. This work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Thursday, May 14.
