For the City Times
Schulfer & Associates is hosting its 5th annual Shredding Party with all proceeds benefiting Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools. Members of the pubic are invited to bring old documents for shredding. IROW will be on site collecting and securing materials for shredding at their facility.
The event is open to individuals and businesses. Participants with 10+ boxes of documents are asked to call ahead.
Donations will be accepted for the service, with 100% of gross proceeds donated to SPACS. Events organizers say they hope to raise $2,500 to purchase Robotics Kits for the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Program.
The “shredding” theme will also apply to dinner for sale at the event. Shredded beef, shredded cheese, shredded coleslaw and shredded potato chips, as well as soda and water are available for purchase. Dinner may be purchased “to go”.
The Pacelli band will also perform from 3:30- 5 PM.
A free copy of “What to Shred, What to Keep” is available by e-mailing SchulferAndAssociates@lpl.com or calling (715) 343-9600.
The shredding party will be held Thursday, May 14, 3-6:30 PM at Schulfer & Associates, 1417 Main Street.
