Officers from SPPD on Thursday arrested a 23 year-old man on Michigan Avenue near the Patch Street intersection.
Stevens Point police had a portion of the roadway near Morton Park blocked off by squad cars during a search of the man’s vehicle. Several officers were present as a precaution.
Police arrested the man for felony bail jumping and, according to Assistant Chief Tom Zenner, “multiple outstanding warrants”. Police asked the man’s name be withheld due to his involvement in an ongoing investigation.
