The Growing Collective is a grassroots volunteer group comprised of 30+ Farmshed members who work to raise plant starts for their own gardens, the plant sale and for school and community gardens. The Collective has grown multiple varieties of herbs and vegetables in a sustainable manner, primarily from organically- raised seed. Popular vegetables include slicing tomatoes, paste tomato varieties, cherry and pear tomatoes, summer squash, winter squash, melons, cucumbers, pumpkins, greens, broccoli, kohlrabi, cauliflower, eggplants, peppers, both hot and sweet, and 13 kinds of herbs. EBT/FoodShare cards will be accepted during the sale.
