Lucille E. (Maslowski) Wojcik, age 86, of Stevens Point, died Saturday May 23, 2015 at the Portage County Health Care Center.
Lucille was born on January 28, 1929 in Muskegan, Mich. to the late Herman and Emma Maslowski. The family later moved to Custer, Wis.
She attended school in Fancher.
On October 2, 1948 she married Norbert Wojcik at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church in Fancher.
Together they raised three children Diane (Allan) Marschke of Whiting, Doug (Tess) Wojcik of Stevens Point and Cindy (Nelson) Gray of Mt. Prospect, IL.
In addition to her immediate family she is survived by her grandchildren Renee (Steve) Johnson, Corey (Dawn) Marschke, Jacy and Whit Wojcik, and Nate Gray.
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Derek and Bryce Johnson, and Paige and Grant Marschke.
In addition she is survived by her sisters Bridget (the late Robert) Zeromski, Germaine (Don) Liss and Mary Lou (Clifford) Schulist.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother James (the late Ramona) Maslowski.
After helping to raise their family, Lucille was employed by Point Sporting Goods.
She enjoyed baking, gardening, listening and dancing to polka music and traveling the United States and various countries with Norbert.
Lucille was a member of St. Peter Parish and its Rosary Society.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation on Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of service in the St. Faustina room at the church. The St. Peter Rosary Society will pray the Rosary at 10 a.m.
