Margaret “Marge” E. Bembenek, age 82 of Stevens Point, died on Tuesday May 26, 2015, at her home. She was under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.
Margaret was born on May 20, 1933 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Ben and Agnes (Perzinski) Glodowski.
She attended local schools, graduating from P.J. Jacobs High School.
Her marriage to Lawrence “Larry” Bembenek took place on May 21, 1955, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher. Her husband Lawrence died on January 15, 2002.
She was a member of the St. Bronislava Rosary Society.
Margaret enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, her morning prayers, especially saying the rosary, polka, her flowers and chatting with her close friends. Her family enjoyed her many canned goods and fresh homemade bread.
Survivors include her daughters; Joan (Ken) Niemczyk of Plover, Jean (Tim) Hall of Hudson and Mary (Neil) Ousnamer of Ferdinand, Idaho. Sons; Gary (Audrey), Mark (Sue) and Paul (Anne) Bembenek, all of Almond. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister; Theresa Kitowski of Stevens Point.
She was preceded in death by her sister; Bernice Cynor. Brother; Albert Glodowski and infant brother, Albin Glodowski.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 AM on Friday May 29, 2015 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church Plover. Burial will take place in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 4-7 PM at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home 2911 Plover Road Plover, and again on Friday from 10 AM until time of service at the church.
