Sold-out PCYS Classic is Central Wisconsin’s largest tournament
For the City Times
The largest youth soccer event in central and northern Wisconsin will come to Stevens Point when Portage County Youth Soccer hosts the PCYS Classic from June 19-21 at the PCYS Complex.
The sold-out 2014 PCYS Classic hosted 134 teams from around Wisconsin and the Midwest, and the same number of teams is expected in 2015. Girls and coed teams will compete in one of three age brackets – U10, U11-12, and U13-19.
Registration for the 2015 PCYS Classic is available online through GotSoccer.com. Registration fees are $375 for U10 teams, $430 for U11-12 teams, and $450 for U13-19 teams.
“The PCYS Classic is just a great tournament all the way around,” said PCYS’ John Ceplina. “It’s very competitive, kids have a lot of fun, and everybody has nothing but good things to say about the Classic.”
