Rd E in Junction city, a 38-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman was charged at 4:26 AM with failing to wear a seat belt, failure to notify police of an accident, failure to stop at a stop sign, and obstructing an officer.
Mailbox Fatality: A 46-year-old man reported his mailbox missing at 8:56 AM on the 1300 block of 2nd St. in Stevens Point.
Not A Toilet: A 27-year-old Plover man reported to police at 2:56 that a patron of bar he was at on the 5400 block of Cty. Rd. W in Bancroft defecated in the bed of his truck.
Vandalism To Truck: At 12:11 PM, a 16-year-old boy reported his truck had been severely damaged by an unknown suspect in the SPASH parking lot. Damage included holes burned in the ceiling, windshield cracked, passenger door handle broken, visor broken, rear view mirror broken off, swastikas scratched into dash, knobs ripped off radio and the love compartment opened and contents scattered.
You’re Outta Here: Police assisted two Stevens Point men, 25 and 30 years old, in escorting an unwanted 50-year-old female from their residence at 3:40 PM on the 1100 block of 4th Ave.
Hit And Run: After striking another vehicle and leaving the scene of the crash on Hwy 10 and Maple Bluff Rd. in Stevens Point, a 31-year-old Stevens Point woman is being charged with hit and run, operating with a revoked license due to use of alcohol or controlled substances, and operating without insurance.
Getting Caught In The Rain: After receiving a driving complaint at midnight on Hwy 10 in Amherst, a 55-year-old driver from Shakopee, Minn., told police that he was having trouble driving in the rain. Driver proceeded to truck stop to wait out the weather.
