A second co-defendant in the case of the armed robbery at the Wigwam Inn in Alban pleaded guilty Thursday.
Tanner Raymond, 20, of Wautoma, was in Portage County Court this week to answer charges of armed robbery with the use of force. Raymond is one of the three people accused of entering the bar on November 30, 2014, brandishing a gun and stealing approximately $2.000 in cash.
Raymond, along with the other suspects, Destiny Clinton and Harlon Raymond, were found hiding in the basement of a Rosholt home the next day.
In a plea deal with the District Attorney’s office, Raymond pleaded guilty to one count of armed robbery, one count of felon in possession of a firearm, one count of criminal damage to property, and resisting or obstructing an officer.
Destiny Clinton also pleaded guilty to similar charges on May 8. Both Clinton and Tanner Raymond will be sentenced on July 21. Harlon Raymond is scheduled to go to trial in the case on June 24.
