The public is invited to what’s being called a “public session” on the city’s long-term viability at the Stevens Point Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Revisioning Point, a grassroots organization aimed at improving the city’s sustainability and appeal, will hold the event on June 25 at 6 PM.
According to the group’s Facebook page, the meeting is intended to promote the “exchange of ideas on strategies to enhance the livability, appearance and long-term economy of Stevens Point”.
Presentations include “The High Cost of Free Parking” by Trevor Roark, “Bridging the Town-Gown Divide” by Sara Raikowski and “Street ‘Visioning’ Session on Division Street”.
Wine and cheese will be served.
