To the Editor-
I am truly tired of hearing tolerance when it has become so one sided.
The Pledge Of Allegiance for some, is an honor to say as pride in America. As well our faith in God of which this nation is founded. If you do not want to say God, then don’t. But how dare some tell others, we can’t! How dare a Muslim, non-believer, liberal scream tolerance but shows no tolerance towards others. This is my country of which I am very proud to be an American veteran. How is it one or two families move into a school district and then dictate others how to act! As if we who proudly say the Pledge are told not too.
Separation of church and State has been so twisted by liberals. It only means, the State or government can not tell you which denomination to be. Our founding fathers knew, not to allow big government to butt in where it is not meant to be! Tell your kids, don’t say God! But I will tell mine to say God.
Public school means of all ancestry, color, faith or none. Schools should be used as a political tool! No foreigner will tell me not to say God or the pledge of Allegiance! You came here. Our laws, customs traditions celebrations are important and you need respect them. Just as you are welcomed to celebrate our customs. But obey our laws! This is what becomes those who sit silent America. So not to offend anyone. Yet they offed us and think it’s OK, no it’s not!
If one can not say God, or won’t stand for the pledge. You about demand that right. Then back down and give that respect for us who do say God and honor our nation. In Schools, at ball parks, in congress as in this is America. It’s a free nation, leave if it’s so bad to live in! If stay, then respect others as you demand from others! Demand a nation wide vote!
