Installation of a new private airplane hangar at the Stevens Point Municipal Airport has been suspended by the builder.
The new 6,400 square foot hangar, to be constructed by Twenty Second Street LLC, was approved by the Stevens Point City Plan Commission on April 6.
The private hangar would initially have housed three aircraft with more to be added in the future.
“It’s not going to built for reasons that the builder would not like to disclose at this time,” said airport manager Jason Dreiham.
