Plover Chainsaw Plunder: A chainsaw was reported stolen by a 51-year-old Plover man at 3:34 PM on the 5300 block of Bees Ln.
Almost An Action Movie: A Custer man called police reporting that he had been nearly driven off the road at 8:19 PM on Brilowski Rd. and Hwy. 66 in Stevens Point.
OWI: A single-vehicle car crash led to a 61-year-old Nelsonville man getting his first DUI at 10:28 PM on Cty. Rd. Q and Alm Rd. in Amherst Junction.
Facebook Harassment: A 19-year-old woman reported to police at 12:36 PM that she had been receiving harassing messages on Facebook. Police advised her to block the phone number and Facebook friend.
Scope Snafu: The price tag of a rifle scope at Fleet Farm was replaced by a 35-year-old male with that of a cheaper item and the customer left the store at 1:59 PM not having paid full price for the item. The $159.99 scope was recovered.
Pfiffner Dozer: A man was found sleeping in Pfiffner Park at 7:47 PM. Police instructed him to move on.
Hostile By Wild Horse: A 27-year-old man was stopped by police at 9:19 AM outside the Wild Horse Saloon in Wisconsin Rapids. Suspect was intoxicated and hostile according to police. K9 Unit Baco was brought in but gave no indication of drug use.
OWI: After stopping a 27-year-old De Pere man at 1:41 PM for driving the wrong way down a one way street on Strongs Ave., police arrested driver for a 1st offense OWI and issued a citation driving against traffic.
Knuckles No More: Police confiscated a set of multi-colored brass knuckles from a 19-year-old driver during a traffic stop on the 1800 block of College Ave. at 6:56 PM.
