A new Culver’s franchise is up for approval by the Plover Plan Commission next week, adding another fast-food restaurant along Plover Road.
The plans for the almost 4,000 square foot building will be presented to the Plover Plan Commission at their meeting on Monday, July 13 at 5 PM.
“The village is pleased with the site plan submittals,” said Village of Plover Supervisor Dan Mahoney. “They used some of their newest design and landscaping. The design will be very similar to what was built on North Division Street in the City of Stevens Point.”
Mahoney said that Plover Rd. sees about 15,000 vehicles daily.
“The perceive that it’s a different market area that will attract a different customer then you would see on Hwy. 10 E or Hwy. 51,” said Mahoney.
The construction would build at 1805 Plover Rd. directly east of a recently constructed Arby’s which opened last month.
No timeline is set for construction at this time.
“We look forward to acting on that project and having a new addition to the Village of Plover in the form of Culver’s,” said Mahoney.
This adds a third Culver’s location to the area, the most recent being the Division St. location in Stevens Point which opened its doors in September 2013.
