Threats To Judge: A 27-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested at 12:17 PM after making threats over the phone to a Portage County Judge and a child protective services employee. The man is being charged with threatening a judge, unlawful use of a phone and stalking.
Showing Some Leg: A white male was reported walking down the road near the intersection of Cty Rd. J and Cty. Rd. N in Bancroft wearing only a t-shirt and underwear at 12:37 PM. Police were unable to locate the man.
Fishing For Trouble: A 16-year-old boy was charged with retail theft after being caught stealing a fishing lure from the Fleet Farm on Hwy. 10 in Stevens Point at 2:35 PM.
Bike Theft: A black and grey Trek bicycle was reported stolen from the 100 block of Minnesota Ave. in Stevens Point by the 21-year-old male owner.
Boat Crash: A dingy was reported to have crashed into a paddle boat on Lake Dubay at 9:18 PM. Driver of the offending dingy was a 56-year-old Junction City man.
Possession: After being pulled over at 1:11 AM due to a reckless driving complaint, a 21-year-old Stevens Point man was charged with possession of marijuana on Post Rd. and Mcdill Ave.
Trash Talk: A 36-year-old Stevens Point man called police at 1:00 PM to complain about litter in front of his business on the 1000 block of Main St.
OWI: A Stevens Point man was charged with operating while under the influence after he crashed his vehicle at 5:22 PM on 90th St. and Hwy. 54 in Wisconsin Rapids.
Threats: A 26-year-old Stevens Point man contacted police after reportedly receiving threats from a group of people near 1st St. and 6th Ave. at 10:00 PM.
Underage Drinker: A 19-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man was charged with underage drinking at 1:09 AM on the 2500 block of Biron Dr. E in Wisconsin Rapids after police responded to a noise complaint due to a large party.
Squealing Squealer: Police received a call from a 64-year-old woman that someone was doing burnouts and squealing their tires at 7:21 AM on the 1100 block of Cty. Rd. C.
ER Emergency: At 11:30 AM, police received a call from the St. Michael’s Hospital emergency room in Stevens Point after a 21-year-old male patient refused to leave urgent care.
Tubular Theft: A 54-year-old Custer man reported at 1:55 PM that tubes used for boating were stolen from a residence on the 4600 block of Tree Lake Dr. in Rosholt.
Out Of Gas, Not Beer: Police responded to a 30-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man who had been reported walking down I39, near mile marker 146, carrying beer. The man told police his vehicle ran out of gas.
