This Saturday brings a showcase of local music talent to Pfiffner Park for the first annual Jam’n’July music festival.
Bands from all over Central Wisconsin will take to the stage of the Pfiffner Park Band Shell for 30 minute performances with local deejays providing entertainment as band set up and take down.
Admission is free but a $5 donation is suggested in order to recoup this year’s costs and fund next year’s festival.

“There’s a lot of rock, there’s a lot of punk…metal will be there for sure. Hardcore will be there for sure,” said Kollock. “I wouldn’t want the titles of the genres to scare some people away. There’s people I know that are going to be bringing their kids.”
Alcohol will not be available at the event but can be brought into the park by those over 21 years old. Guests are also encouraged to bring lawn games.
Pfiffner Park is located at 1100 Crosby Ave. in Stevens Point.
