St. Paul’s Lutheran School has a new principal.
The school welcomed Mr. Jim Wegner as principal in June. Wegner received his B.A. in education from Concordia University Wisconsin – Mequon and completed his SLED training (principal training) through the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod this Spring.
He’s taught and served at Luther North High School in Chicago; St. Andrew’s Lutheran School in Park Ridge, Ill; Our Shepherd Lutheran School in Birmingham, Mich.; and St. John’s Lutheran in West Bend, Wis.
This fall will mark the 60th year of St. Paul Lutheran School opening its doors to Christian education in the community. Wegner said he encourages families in the community to check out St. Paul and see how they raise their children in the Christian faith.
Wegner and his wife Jenny, along with their two boys, Tyler and Evan, and dog Pebbles have recently moved to the area from West Bend.
Wegner likes to spend time with family, cheer on his favorite sports teams, enjoy the outdoors and read a good presidential biography when he has time.
