Dorothy E. Wisniewski (Ross), age 91, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015.
She was born on July 16, 1924. She lived in Stevens Point for most of her life. She married Roman Wisniewski on August 2nd, 1947. He preceded her in death along with young daughter, Carrie.
Survivors include a daughter, Carole (Robert) Koon; grandchildren, McKenna & Caitlin; brother-in-law, Walter S. Maluka; nieces, Jean (Mikey) VanOrnum, Julie Maluka, Barbie Maluka; and nephew, Gary Maluka.
She was employed by her Aunt Betty at Zinda Farms for many years. She also worked at Sentry Insurance, cared for her Uncle Joe Mansavage and many others throughout her life. She was on the Board of the McDill Cemetery Association, spending many years in that position volunteering with her mother, Regina Ross.
She enjoyed raising flowers and fishing with her husband. But mostly, she loved Bible Study and explaining and teaching its message to other people as a faithful Witness of Jehovah for all of her life. She was active in preaching the truth to all up to her death.
She lived her final years at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King up until the time of her death, where she was active and enjoyed many of the activities offered there.
A Memorial Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3600 Northpoint Drive, Stevens Point. Visitation is at 4 PM and the Memorial at 5 PM. Boston Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be held at the McDill Cemetery.
