For the City Times
A monthly book discussion group will begin meeting in February, with limited space during its kickoff at Franciscans Downtown.
The first meeting will center on discussion of the book Menu for the Future, and explore how food choices affect a person’s carbon footprint. The book group will change books about every six week and meets on Mondays.
The group is limited to 12 people. Interested persons should contact Mary Maller at (715) 544-4859 or firstname.lastname@example.org or Sue Anderson at (715) 347-6460 or email@example.com as soon as possible so the book can be ordered. Books cost $21 each, but a limited number of loaner copies will be available at no cost.
The group will hold its first meeting on Feb. 8 at Franciscans Downtown, 1000 Main St. at 6 PM.
The discussion group is sponsored by the Interfaith Community for the Earth (ICE).
