Richard R. Noonan, age 84, of Almond, died on January 24, 2016 while under the care of Ministry Hospice.
Richard was born May 6, 1931 to the late Ralph and Ferna (Pomroy) Noonan in Kaukauna, WI.
He grew up there and attended the local schools. Following high school, Richard joined the U.S. Army. He served two tours in Korea before being honorably discharged.
After his military service, Richard worked for Miller Electric for a number of years in Appleton, WI before starting his own business. He was the proud owner and manager of R& R Maintenance for the majority of his life before retiring.
He later relocated to Almond to be closer to his son, Ralph.
Richard will be remembered for his friendly and outgoing nature. He liked to keep busy and always found someone to help or something to do. In his spare time, Richard enjoyed following sports, especially baseball. He relished cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson.
He is survived by his son, Ralph (Jamie) Noonan of Almond; his grandson; nieces and nephews; and close friends.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters; and 4 brothers.
