Clifford F. (Frank) Falkowski, 81 of Stevens Point, died early Saturday morning, March 5, 2016 at Ministry-St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Cliff was born May 9, 1934 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Andrew and Frances (Kieliszewski) Falkowski. He attended St. Peters Grade School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1952.
Cliff was a life long member of St. Peter’s Church and his faith was very important to him.
After graduation he worked for Vetters Co. for a number of years before working for Consolidated Papers for over 33 years retiring in 1994.
In his younger days Cliff enjoyed snowmobiling and loved fishing. After his retirement he loved to travel extensively. He traveled Europe, Hawaii, and Alaska and visited almost every state in the United States. He loved the Green Bay Packers and was an avid NASCAR fan which he watched both faithfully.
In Lieu of flowers contributions to Pacelli Catholic Capital Fund in his name would be appreciated.
His first marriage was to Joyce Billerbeck and they had four children.
On July 4, 1987 he married Virginia (Eckendorf) Stankowski and became the father of seven more children and acquired a family of in- laws.
Cliff is survived by his wife Virginia; his children Mark Falkowski, Sharon (Paul) Riske, Lori (Gary) Krueger all of Stevens Point and Kari (Niles) Yenter of Rosholt.
His step children; Ernie (Patty) Eckendorf, and Angie (Bob) Jakusz both of Plover. Larry (Doreen) Eckendorf, Carolyn (Randy) Iwanski and John (Stephanie) Eckendorf all of Stevens Point., Sue (Terry) Spry of Plover and Jane (Scott) Krueger of Shawano.
His grandchildren; Makayla, Max and Brock Yenter and Kyle and Kelly Suchoski.
His step grandchildren; Travis (Elspeth), Jordan and Karisa Eckendorf. Natalie and Elise Jakusz, Brandon (Tabatha), Lauren (Chris) Northway,Sean and Kendra Eckendorf, Amanda (Mike) Kaczmarek and Jill Iwanski, Brian (Lindsay) Mannebach, Jackson, Frances and Bennet Eckendorf, Elizabeth and Juliana Spry and Liam and Owen Krueger.
Great grandchildren; Ashtyn and Azalea Suchoski, Trenton Kaczmarek, Bentley and Avery Northway, Micah Eckendorf and soon to be Tessa Eckendorf.
Further survived by a sister-in-law Evelyn Nowak and four brother-in-laws Ernest, Dominic, Edwin and Ted Stankowski.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Frank.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday March 9, 2016 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Rev. Arul Joseph Visuvasam officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:00 A.M Wednesday at the St. Faustina Room of St. Peters Church until the time for mass. There will be a parish Rosary at 10:00 A. M. Wednesday morning.
