Louann Waltenberg, age 57, of Plover, Wis., died June 2, 2016 at her home surrounded by family while under the care of Ministry Hospice.
Louann, also known as “Cupcake” or “Sunshine” was born November 28, 1958 to the late Claude Sr. & Lula (Barden) Waltenberg in Stevens Point, WI. She attended the local schools.
She was employed at Community Industries for four years.
Louann will be remembered for her beautiful smile, always giving hugs, and her loving, outspoken personality. She was involved with Girl Scouts and CCLS. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Brewers, and watching western movies. She also relished spending time with family and friends, making bracelets, riding her bike, doing crossword puzzles, and playing games on her laptop.
She is survived by her siblings, Claude Jr. (Ginger) Waltenberg of Park Falls, Eugene Waltenberg of Stevens Point, Ernest (Sandra L.) Waltenberg of Stevens Point, Byron (Molly) Waltenberg of Park Falls, Dawayne (Jan) Waltenberg of Amherst, Leona (Dave) Waltenberg of Stevens Point, and Scott (Sara) Waltenberg of Junction City; and numerous loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Boston Funeral Home. A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Boston Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery.
