Students at Stevens Point Area Senior High on Saturday celebrated the end to their 2016 Homecoming.
The school also held them days all week, to include Pajama Day, Tie Dye Day, USA Day and Hawaii Day.
The school lost its Friday night football game to Wisconsin Rapids with a final score of 41-35 in overtime. It was the first time since 2011 that SPASH lost the Ol’ River Jug during a 70-year rivalry between the schools.
“Up, Up & Away” was the theme of the 2016 Homecoming dance, held at the SPASH fieldhouse. Homecoming court member include Nicole Brezinski with Gus Turner-Zick, Cassidy Mason with Treyton Zinda, Avalon McDonald-Lewis with Tyler Bernstein, Megan Nolan with Jacob Beilke, Lauren Woyak with Derek Czlapinski, Taya Zywicke with Beau Rosenthal, Homecoming Queen Rachael Omernik with Manny Ramos.
Tyler Nelson was voted Mr. SPASH 2016.
