For the City Times
If you’ve taken a drive down Patch St. lately, you may have noticed a change on the 3700 block.
Krebs Business Machines, Inc., a longtime local office equipment sales and service provider, has become Star Business Machines, Inc.
New owners Cory and Anastasia Sosnovske purchased the business in January. Together, the two gave Krebs a new modern look, along with the new name, after 33 years under its former moniker.
Cory Sosnovske, president of the company, has been a service technician at the business for almost two decades.
“When you call to speak with someone, you will not have to work through a confusing answering system or computer,” he said. “We have taken our customer service to a new level, with the addition of options to diagnose machines remotely.”
Star is also an authorized Copystar dealer, and is looking into new printer technologies that may benefit area companies, especially for restaurant and bar owners.
Star technicians are certified in toner cartridge re-manufacturing, programming, installing and trouble-shooting an array of cash registers, point-of-sale systems, copiers, printers, fax machines, shredders, laminators, time clocks, security cameras and many other office machines. The company also offers credit card processing options.
Star is located on 3709 Patch St. in Stevens Point. For more information, call the company at (715) 341-5919, or stop in during their regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, or on Fridays between 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
