William L. DeVivo, age 67, of Waupaca, Wis. passed away suddenly on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 at his residence.
Bill was born in Evanston, Ill. on Jan. 7, 1950, the son of the late Peter and Beverly (Marose) DeVivo.
He was the owner of Willy’s Chicago Style Restaurant and loved the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears, cooking, traveling, playing with the dogs, watching TV, swimming/working out and especially watching and playing with his grand kids.
Bill is survived by his life partner: Linda Dahlberg, Waupaca; his children: Tony (Kari) DeVivo, Wisconsin Rapids; Nicholas DeVivo, Stevens Point and Lacey DeVivo, Stevens Point; his grandchildren: Anthony & Aryanna; his sister: Sandra (Robert) Chapman, Des Plaines, Ill.; his brother: Michael DeVivo, Des Plaines, Ill.; his aunt: Mary Ann DeVivo Coleman, Chicago; nephews: Stephen (Beatriz)Kuperman, Spring, Texas; Jim Kuperman, Des Plaines, Ill., and his niece: Holly Kuperman, Des Plaines, Ill.
Bill is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be on Saturday, March 4 at 2 PM at the Grand Hall at SentryWorld in Stevens Point with Reverend Al Moen, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Bill’s name.
