UWSP Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony Concert — 7:30 p.m.
-Hosted at the Noel Fine Arts Center — Michelsen Hall, 1800 Portage St. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for senior citizens, $5 for UW-Stevens Point students, faculty and youth and free the day of the concert.
Thursday Dec. 7 – Saturday, Dec. 9
“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” — 7:00 p.m.
-Held at the The Springs United Methodist Church, 2820 Plover Springs Drive, Plover — this Christmas performance will be put on by the Playhouse Theatre Group of Central Wisconsin. Saturday, Dec. 9
“Retracing Their Steps” — 9:30 a.m.
-Hosted by UWSP and Friends of Schmeeckle, this gathering will put attendees in the shoes of a wildlife tracker as they trace the steps and reconstruct stories of their “outdoor friends”. Saturday, Dec. 9
Yoga for Paws — 10:00 a.m.
-This pet-friendly yoga event will be held at the Stevens Point Parks & Rec. Department, 2442 Sims Ave. (From the Facebook event page) — “Yoga 4 Paws takes place Saturday, December 9! Your $25 donation includes a yoga class, commemorative Yoga 4 Paws t-shirt, and 5 tickets towards the basket raffle.
